On behalf of my partners at D+S Distribution, Inc., I want to thank the Systems Logic team for providing the Wireless Warehouse in a Box (WWIAB) solution for our central Ohio facility serving our Tier 1 automotive customer. The fully bar-coded WWIAB solution not only delivers real-time warehousing and distribution visibility, it also has provided our team with superior kitting, packaging and truck planning capabilities. Your system doesn’t pretend to be “real-time”, it is “real-time”, all the time.
I should mention that we remain impressed with the WWIAB implementation process and project approach. Your team became an extension of ours, working diligently to ensure continuity of service during the transition. Your competitors offered to sell us high cost software with even higher cost consulting and customization. Systems Logic offered D+S a solution that works out-of-the-box at a fixed price quote. Our project was implemented on-time and within our planned budget. It is refreshing to use software that can be tailored to work with existing business processes rather than requiring that we change our processes to match the software.
WWIAB is also a great tool for our staff. The system’s ease of use and fully functional bar code scanners have allowed us to do a cycle count comparison of entire warehouse bays in less than an hour. Incorporating pictures of each part gives our team members visual cues to ensure that we pick and package the right part every time.
You should know that last week our customer conducted its first physical inventory since the system was installed. While we package over 120,000 parts per month, our physical inventory yielded just six adjustments consisting of eight pieces with a total value difference less than $65.00. Our 1st WWIAB inventory resulted in an accuracy rate of 99.9933%. And even better, the outside auditors walked through the facility, completed their testing and casually noted that their time could be better spent at other facilities.

At Native Stone we have found Systems Logic to be dependable, easy to use and helpful as we continue to grow as a major producer and distributor of stone veneer throughout Canada.
